These terms govern quotations issued by, and orders placed with, Mira International Traders, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. They apply unless we have signed a separate written contract with you that says otherwise.
Prices are quoted per consignment against your stated Incoterms and packaging preference, and are valid for the period stated on the quotation. Quotations are an invitation to trade and do not form a contract until we confirm your order in writing.
Prices exclude duties, taxes and levies payable in the destination country, which are the buyer’s responsibility.
Each product carries the minimum order quantity shown on its product page. We may decline or re-quote orders below that quantity.
Our standard terms are 30–50% advance with the balance payable against shipping documents. Letters of credit are accepted for larger bulk orders. The terms that apply to your order are the ones confirmed at quotation stage.
Physical samples are dispatched for quality approval before production begins. Sample and courier costs are charged as set out in the quotation.
Goods are supplied to the specification agreed in writing. Third-party or in-house quality inspection is carried out against that agreed specification sheet before dispatch.
Agricultural produce is a natural product; minor variation in size, colour and appearance within the agreed grade is normal and is not a defect.
Goods are supplied in the export packaging stated on the product page unless you have agreed custom or private-label packaging with us in advance.
Delivery terms follow the Incoterms rule named in the order confirmation, which determines the point at which cost and risk pass to you. Lead times are given in good faith and are not guaranteed dates.
Any claim relating to quantity, condition or conformity must reach us in writing, with supporting photographs and survey evidence, within [period to confirm] days of arrival at the discharge port. Claims made after that period cannot be considered.
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including crop failure, extreme weather, port congestion, strikes, changes in export regulation or refusal of a licence.
The buyer is responsible for confirming that the goods may lawfully be imported into the destination country and for obtaining any import licence, registration or clearance required.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
